Be a Better Team by Friday
Book Design

The authors possessed a clear vision for the book's message but sought guidance on visual translation and execution of final product.

Thats where I came in. I facilitated a brand discovery workshop, guiding the team and authors to visually shape their brand. With team unity, I crafted a comprehensive style guide and creative brief. These documents served as the foundation for the publisher and designers to bring to their brand to life.

Taking charge of art direction for the cover, I collaborated closely with the designer. Simultaneously, I edited the manuscript to establish a content hierarchy, ensuring that key points within the book not only stood out but also felt approachable.

Any time you hire a creative vendor, you take a risk: Will they prioritize my job? Will they get our brand? Will they follow through with their promise?

With Caitlin, rest assured, you're hiring an absolute professional of the highest caliber. Not only does she have a top-notch sense of design aesthetic, she has the ability to truly understand your business and what, exactly, you're about. She shows up with the ownership and follow through of someone who cares as much about the success of the final product as you do. We were extremely fortunate to have Caitlin direct the creative for our book. She understood our brand, held a commitment to the highest excellence, worked with multiple stakeholders, paid attention to every single detail, communicated regularly and on-time, and delivered a stellar product that I feel super proud of.
